Central Church's youth meets regularly for weekly studies, activities and Sunday School. Contact the church office for more Youth information or email Jake (see below) Our Associate Pastor, Jake Hron is our leadership for our Youth Program as well as music, especially in our Contemporary Service! Events will generally be held at Pastor Jake's house (2941 Huckleberry Place) from 7pm till 9pm, unless otherwise noted in the weekly emails.
Jan. 13-14: Focus! So, same as always, Cost is
15 bucks. Drop off is at 5pm Friday at the Baptist church on Lake Trail Rd,
and pick up is on Saturday at 11:30am. Always a rockin time!
Jan. 21: Sledding! Jan. 27: Deeper Life Weekend with very special guest (a friend of Jake's) Dan Byrne. Feb. 10-12: Valenteen info: See Jake for two forms that you have to have filled out and dropped off to him before Jan29th. The form says Feb 3rd, but I just got a letter from Valenteen saying that they need to know by the 29th how many people are coming, so that is the new deadline.
The cost is $105 bucks (Homewood raised their price this year), and before
your get hissies up, that is already a subsidized and discounted price. If,
however, you still find that to be an insurmountable dollar figure, and you
still want to go, I (Jake) can make it happen, so please talk to me about
it. Valenteen is a very special (polar bear swim!) and awesome time, and
that every teen should have the opportunity to go.
Feel free to invite your
friends to any and all youth events. We have a lot of fun over the year,
as well as learn about God and life and stuff (including, but not limited to,
