We meet for our service each Sunday morning in the Stan Hagen Theatre of the North Island College (at the top of Ryan Hill), Courtenay, BC. Central E. Free Church, a member of the Evangelical Free church of Canada, began in 1993, and is a growing and diverse congregation with total average Sunday attendance of 190 at two services (one contemporary the other traditional). Central has an office in downtown Courtenay and meets Sundays in the local North Island College Lecture Theatre with Sunday school classes held in college classrooms. A building program is underway. We have land on Inverclyde Way (just off Lerwick), praying we will break ground in the next couple of years! The Senior Pastor, Dave Koleba, has been with congregation almost since its inception. In Nov. 2008 we hired an Associate Pastor, Jake Hron. |
